Jordi Sunyer is a Barcelona-born illustrator and graphic designer. He is still living and working in Barcelona.
As illustrator and author, he has worked for several printing houses, including Baula, Edelvives, Edicions Hipòtesi, la Galera, Edebé, Cruïlla, Grupo SM, Barcanova, Combel, Anaya, McGraw-hill or Oxford University Press. He has also published his works in the newspapers El País and El Punt Avui and in the magazines Descobrir and Sapiens, as well as in publications by F.C. Barcelona Foundation. Some of his illustrated works have been published in France, Portugal, Italy and Argentina.
From 2007 to 2009 he was art director and creator of the animated TV series Asha, coproduced by Cromosoma, Televisió de Catalunya and TVE.
He also takes graphic art assignments from companies and organizations, such as Barcelona City Council, the Catalan Government, the University of Barcelona, Hospital Clínic of Barcelona or IDIBAPS (Biomedical Research Institute).

This year has been selected to participate the exhibition ‘Books in Catalan’ organized by the Ramon Llull Institute for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
